A tale of the final duel between sorcerer Pandriex Ogmia and the dark warlock Halycanos atop the giant monolith of obsidian, Gyrdoma Peak. Pandriex, aware of his looming defeat, consumes a trinity of Ether vials - more than any spellcaster has ever attempted (twas commonly known that one would surely perish by doing so). The overwhelming flood of consciousness caused by the potions allowed his power to split the great stone spire in twine, and cast it into the desert chasm below, where he and Halycanos fell into the endless dark waterfalls of the sand sea. As the battle continued (both wizards reaching terminal velocity while plummeting through the planet's inner sanctum), Pandriex felt his body disintegrating from the ether overdose, and purged the last of its effects all at once, calling upon the planet itself to seal them both within the molten core forever.
